For Adult students $56+ $25 Supply Fee Saturday, September 21, 2024 11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Collage is painting with paper. We will explore the materials for collage and the many techniques for collaging. Mixed media collage is versatile and can be used in paintings, decorative boxes, furniture, or anything your can glue paper or fabric to. Learn how to create your own collage papers (gelli prints, painted papers etc.) We will explore images, shapes, colors, mark making, and text that mean something to you whether creating realism or abstraction. Expect to play, relax, have fun. Collage Techniques with Sheri Medford Supply List An apron or something to protect your clothing. You may bring magazines, laser printed photos, newspaper, book pages you have around the house that mean something to you, or even an old thrift store painting or box to embellish. Bring your imagination. I will provide mixed media supplies like paint, markers, stencils, gelli plates, glues etc. for you to play and explore. I will also provide a variety of art boards, boxes, tiles, paper for you to collage on. *Pre-registration is required for Art School classes; classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be registered ONLY on receipt of payment. Enrollment requirements for all classes: 3 students minimum. Classes with low enrollment are cancelled 48 hours before the class is scheduled to begin. Refunds and Cancellation Policies: If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued. Refunds or class credit will not be issued for any other reason than cancellation of a class due to low enrollment.
